GREATER VESSEL: The spleen channel starts from the tip of the big toe and runs along the medial aspect of the foot to ascend the medial malleolus. It then follows the posterior aspect of the tibia, passes the knee and thigh to enter the abdomen. It then enters the spleen and stomach from where it ascends traversing the diaphragm and reaching the oesophagus. It ends at the centre of the tongue. From the stomach, a branch goes through the diaphragm and links with the heart.
